[Video Guide] How to Create a Subscription Contract for Existing Customers

This video shows how to start a subscription for a customer yourself, without them going through checkout. If the customer has no saved payment method, Shopify emails them a secure link to add one to the subscription when you create it. To have the customer check out and pay themselves instead, send a quick subscribe link.

The steps in short

1. Go to Supr Bundles & Subscriptions > Subscriptions, click Create subscription contract, then choose Create subscription contract.
2. In the Subscription card, pick a subscription option from your offers (or Custom subscription option).
3. In the Customer card, search for the customer, then check the shipping address and Payment method (with no saved payment method, Shopify emails them a link to add one).
4. Click Add product and set quantities and prices.
5. In the Payment card, set the discount and shipping, and tick First order due later if the first order should happen on a later date. Otherwise the customer is billed immediately.
6. Click Create contract.
