Choosing the Right Portal Link
There are two ways your customers can manage subscriptions:
- Customer accounts page (Recommended)
- Subscriptions are a page inside Shopify's customer accounts.
- Provides a consistent and predictable customer experience.
- Needs Shopify's new customer accounts, and the portal must be enabled first, see the video guide to enabling the customer portal.
- Legacy online store portal
- Subscriptions are managed on a separate page:
/apps/my-subscriptions - Best used if your store is still on legacy (classic) customer accounts.
Quick add from the app (Customer accounts page only)
If you are using the Customer accounts page portal, you can add the navigation link in just a few clicks from the app:
- Go to Shopify admin
- Open Supr Bundles & Subscriptions
- Navigate to Settings > Customer portal
- On the Customer accounts page card, in the Navigation menu link row, click "Add to customer account menu"

This adds a Subscriptions link to your Customer account main menu in your Shopify navigation settings. The row's badge changes to Enabled and the button becomes View customer accounts menu. For most stores this is enough and you will not need the rest of this guide.
Step-by-Step: Adding the Link to Your Storefront Menu
- Open Shopify Admin
Log in to your Shopify admin dashboard.
- Click Content
This is where you manage all your store's menus.

- Click Menus
This is where you manage all your store's menus.

- Choose a Menu to Edit
Click the name of the menu you want to edit (e.g., Header).

- Click Add Menu Item
This will open a new row for you to fill in the label and link.

- Enter the Link Label
Type a clear label such as My Subscriptions

- Add the Link Depending on Your Portal Type
You need to add the correct link depending on your selected customer portal. You can see which one you are using at the top of Supr Bundles & Subscriptions > Settings > Customer portal.

Option A: Customer accounts page (Recommended)
- Click inside the Link field and type:
Subscriptions

- Select the Supr Bundles & Subscriptions app from the dropdown

Option B: Legacy online store portal
- Click inside the Link field and type:
/apps/my-subscriptions

- Click the link from the dropdown when it appears
This will create a direct link to the legacy portal page.

- Click the ✅ Checkmark
This saves the new menu item inside the menu editor.

- Click Save
Your portal link is now live in your store navigation.

Tips and Best Practices
- Use clear, friendly labels like Manage Subscriptions or My Subscriptions.
- Place the link in a visible menu (e.g., Header or Account menu).
- Test the link from a logged-in customer account to ensure it routes correctly.
- If you switch from the legacy portal to the Customer accounts page, replace your old
/apps/my-subscriptionsmenu link with the new one (Option A above).
Common questions
I added the link but customers get an error or an empty page.
If you use the Customer accounts page portal, check the card on Settings > Customer portal says Enabled. If it says Disabled, finish enabling it first, see The customer portal won't enable or says Failed to verify.
Which menu should the link go in?
With new customer accounts, the Customer account main menu, so customers see Subscriptions next to their orders. You can also add it to your header or footer menu.
Do customers need the menu link to reach the portal?
No. The app's subscription emails link to the portal too, but a menu link helps customers who come to your store directly.
I don't see the Add to customer account menu button.
It only shows with new customer accounts and when your store has a customer account menu. Add the link by hand with the steps above.
