# [Video Guide] How to enable APP EMBED

The app embed is the switch that turns the widget on in your theme. With it on, your subscription options and bundle options appear on your product pages, directly above the add to cart button. With it off, they do not appear at all, unless a **Subscriptions + Bundles** block was added to the page by hand. So this is the first setting to check when the widget is missing.

The easiest way to turn it on is from the app: **Design > Enable widget**, then click **Save** in the theme editor that opens. This video shows the same switch in the theme editor.

### The short version

1. In Shopify admin, go to **Online Store > Themes** and click **Customize** on your live theme.
2. Open **App embeds** (the icon at the bottom of the left sidebar).
3. Turn the **Supr Bundle & Subscriptions** embed **on**. (Older versions of the app called it **Subscriptions (1.0 themes only)**.)
4. Click **Save**.

|| The switch is per theme. If you are working on an unpublished theme, turn it on in that theme's editor as well.

### Common questions

**I turned it on but nothing changed on my store.**
Make sure you clicked **Save** at the top right of the theme editor, then reload your product page, ideally in a private window.

**Should I turn the app embed off if I also use the Subscriptions + Bundles block?**
No. Keep it on. Wherever the block is on the page, the embed's copy steps aside by itself, so you never get two widgets from this.

**Is there a code or snippet to add instead?**
No. The app embed is the whole setup. Nothing needs to be pasted into your theme.
