# The one-time purchase option is not showing on the product page

If you have added a product to an offer and turned on the widget, the widget normally offers a **One-time purchase** row next to your subscription options. If that row is missing, one of the causes below applies. Work through them in order: the first two cover nearly every case.

### Why is the one-time purchase option not showing?

By default every offer shows the one-time purchase row, so a customer can buy once without subscribing. It disappears when:

1. The product is set to subscription only in your Shopify admin.
2. The one-time purchase row is hidden on the offer the product is in.
3. The shopper has picked a bundle option that is set to **Subscription only**.

### Cause 1: The product is subscription only in Shopify

The offer editor shows a **Subscription-only** badge next to a product like this in the offer's product list.

1. In your Shopify admin, go to **Products**.
2. Open the product.
3. Scroll to the **Purchase options** box.
4. **Uncheck** **Only sell this product as a subscription**.
5. Click **Save**.
6. Reload the product page in your online store and check that the one-time purchase row is back.

### Cause 2: The one-time purchase row is hidden on the offer

Whether the one-time purchase row shows is set on each offer, not on the Design page.

1. Go to [**Supr Bundles & Subscriptions > Offers**](https://admin.shopify.com/apps/super-subscriptions/app/offers) and open the offer the product is in.
2. Find the **One-time purchase** row in the list of subscription options. A hidden row carries a **Hidden** badge.
3. Click the eye icon on that row (**Show the one-time purchase option on the storefront**).
4. Click **Save**.
5. Reload the product page in your online store.

The setting applies to every product in that offer. If the product is in more than one offer, check each of them.

### Cause 3: A bundle option is set to Subscription only

On an offer with bundle options, each bundle option can be set to **Subscription only** ("Hide one-time purchase when this option is selected"). While a shopper has that bundle option selected, the one-time purchase row is hidden on purpose, and it comes back when they pick another one. If that bundle option is the default, the page opens without the row.

To change it, open the offer and open the bundle option. Under its main fields, each of its other settings is a small chip that names it and, once it is on, shows **On** or its value: click **Subscription only** and switch it off in the option's **Additional settings**, then save.

### The row shows but is not selected first

If the one-time purchase row is there but the page opens on a subscription, a subscription option is the default. On the offer, click **Make default** on the **One-time purchase** row and save. You can also move the row to the top or the bottom of the list with the arrows on the row. This also explains a product page price that looks lower than the price you set: the price at the top of the page follows the option selected first.

* Make sure you saved the offer, then reload the product page. Changes can take a minute to reach your store.
* Check that what you see is our widget. If your product page shows purchase options that look nothing like your Design page, they may come from your theme or from another subscription app.

### Common questions

**Why did the one-time purchase option disappear after I set up an offer?**
Either the product is ticked as **Only sell this product as a subscription** in Shopify, or the one-time purchase row is hidden on the offer. Fix it with Cause 1 or Cause 2 above.

**Where is the "Show one-time purchase option" setting on the Design page?**
It is no longer there. Each offer now decides, with the eye icon on its **One-time purchase** row.

**Can I charge a different price for one-time purchases?**
The one-time price is your product's normal Shopify price. The subscription price comes from each subscription option's discount.

**How do I make one-time purchase the option selected when the page loads?**
Click **Make default** on the **One-time purchase** row of the offer and save.
