# How to delete or unpublish an offer

This guide explains how to take an offer off your store for a while (set it to **Draft**), how to delete an offer or one of its options for good, and what happens to customers who already subscribed. It works the same for subscription offers, bundle offers and **Bundle + Subscription** offers.

### Stop selling an offer without deleting it

Most of the time you do not need to delete anything. Set the offer to **Draft** instead:

1. Go to [**Supr Bundles & Subscriptions > Offers**](https://admin.shopify.com/apps/super-subscriptions/app/offers) and open the offer.
2. In the card at the top right, set **Status** to **Draft**.
3. Click **Save**.

A draft offer is taken off every product it applied to: its subscription options and bundle options no longer show on your store. All its settings are kept. Customers who already subscribed keep renewing as normal.

To sell it again, set **Status** back to **Published** and save. The Offers list shows each offer's status.

To stop selling an offer on **some** products only, change what it covers under **Offer details > Applies to** (**All products**, **Specific collections**, **Specific products**) and save. See [Applying subscriptions to specific products and collections](/en-us/article/applying-subscriptions-to-specific-products-and-collections-fkcqm0/).

### Delete an offer

1. Go to [**Supr Bundles & Subscriptions > Offers**](https://admin.shopify.com/apps/super-subscriptions/app/offers).
2. Tick the checkbox next to the offer (you can tick several).
3. Click **Delete offers** in the bar that appears.
4. Click **Delete** in the dialog.

||| Deleting an offer **can't be undone**. The offer and all of its options are removed, and its subscription options and bundle options disappear from your product pages. If you might sell it again, set it to **Draft** instead.

There is no delete button inside the offer editor: deleting is done from the Offers list. If the delete cannot be completed, the app says **Delete failed** and leaves the offer in place, so you can try again.

|| Want a similar offer instead? Tick an offer and click **Copy offers** to duplicate it, then edit the copy. The copy keeps the original's status and products, so set it to **Draft** or change its products straight away. See [Copying an offer](/en-us/article/a-beginners-guide-to-subscription-offers-1ey00x7/#3-copying-an-offer).

### Delete one option

To remove one option (for example retire the "Weekly" option but keep "Monthly"):

1. Open the offer.
2. Click the **Delete** (bin) icon on that option's row.
3. Click **Save**.

The rest of the offer stays as it is. If the option you deleted was the default, the first remaining option becomes the default (unless the one-time purchase row is the default). The **one-time purchase** row cannot be deleted, only hidden with its eye icon.

### What happens to existing subscribers

Each subscription keeps its own copy of the terms it was bought on (products, frequency, discount, duration). So when you delete or unpublish an offer or an option, or change it:

* Customers who already subscribed **keep their subscription** and continue to be billed and delivered as before.
* Only **new** customers are affected: they can no longer choose that offer or option.

Deleting is not a way to cancel or change current subscribers. To end, pause or change existing subscriptions, manage them from the [**Subscriptions**](https://admin.shopify.com/apps/super-subscriptions/app/contracts) page, see [Managing a customer's subscription on their behalf](/en-us/article/managing-a-customers-subscription-on-their-behalf-iwgzlk/). To change the price existing subscribers pay, see [Changing prices for existing subscribers](https://supr-bundles-and-subscriptions.crisp.help/en-us/article/changing-prices-for-existing-subscribers-j5h6xq/).

### Common questions

**Can I pause or hide an offer temporarily?**
Yes. Open the offer, set **Status** to **Draft**, and save. Set it back to **Published** when you want to sell it again.

**Where is the delete button?**
On the Offers list: tick the offer and click **Delete offers**. The offer editor has no delete button.

**If I delete an offer, will my current subscribers be cancelled?**
No. They keep renewing on the terms they bought. Cancel or change them from **Subscriptions** if that is what you want.

**If I change a subscription option's frequency or discount, do existing subscribers change too?**
No. Changes to an offer only affect new purchases.

**I unpublished or deleted a bundle offer, but its bundle options still show on my product page.**
Reload the product page (an open tab can show the old page). If the options are still there, check that the product is not covered by another offer with bundle options. If it still shows, contact support with the product's URL and we will remove it.

**Can I undo a delete?**
No. Recreate the offer, or next time set it to **Draft** instead of deleting it.
